Getting a little more creative with my pencils today I decided to tape them together and draw with two instead of one. I used Staedtler Mars Lumograph Black pencils in HB and 2B. Again, using a continuous line I carefully and slowly drew the main lines I could see on the reference photo of the horse's head. The results are great and really gives that blurred effect. It certainly makes the drawing more interesting. 

I wasn't focusing on proportions with this one as just trying to control the pencils and making sure that both were constantly touching the surface was enough of a challenge. I'd like to have another go at this but instead of exploring continuous line, perhaps I could change it a little and draw as I would do normally when using one pencil and investigate the variety of marks I can make with the two.
