I tried the same method of using boxes and circles to achieve a rough structure of the horse's body but this time with its head down grazing. Again, I can see that the proportions aren't correct. The head is too small, the neck too short and the chest possibly a bit too wide 🤔 The concept of using shapes is great as a guide but it doesn't beat observing the animal from life I don't think.

It's good to have lots of tools in the bag to help if I get stuck so I'm not completely ruling using this system out, but I do want to do some more research to see what else is out there that I could use.
