By using the method of circles and lines to draw the structure of the horse's movements I now feel I can capture them more quickly and effectively than I ever did before. Next I need to focus on getting those proportions right.

The reference photo I was using for this one was of a fully grown horse but my drawing has ended up looking like a pony, but why? 🤔 There is some foreshortening here which I don't believe I have successfully achieved and I think that may have something to do with it. In hindsight I should've made the main body bigger and longer as that's the part that's nearest to us and the head much smaller as it turns away from us.
