Like yesterday's drawing, todays is not the most eye catching I've posted during the project but it's relevant and useful nontheless.

Focussing on different positions of the front legs I've simplified each one by drawing out stick figures showing the angles and joints of the leg. I've then repeated the stick figure next to each one but then added a simple 'outer skin' using only line. This helps to show me roughly where the bones and joints would sit beneath the surface. 

I find drawing horse's legs so difficult and time consuming so hopefully by studying them more closely it'll give me a much better understanding of how they actually work, making it easier for me to draw them.
